Verbal Beginnings Receives Behavioral Health Center of Excellence Accreditation

Maryland Autism Therapy Provider Named as Top National Behavioral Service Provider

The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) has recognized Verbal Beginnings with a 1-Year Accreditation, acknowledging the organization as a top behavioral service provider in the country. The BHCOE Accreditation recognizes behavioral health providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, and consumer satisfaction. These areas are measured via a wide-ranging audit, including interviews with agency clinical leadership, a detailed staff qualification review, anonymous staff satisfaction survey, and anonymous consumer satisfaction survey.

“Verbal Beginnings is persistent in striving to deliver quality care and is committed to improvement. They are receptive to feedback and actively engage in the peer review process to deliver ethical Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services,” said Sara Gershfeld Litvak, Founder of BHCOE. “We are pleased to congratulate CEO and Founder, Diana Wolf, Managing Partner and Founder, Nick Chappell, and their team on running an excellent resource for the autism community across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and beyond.”

Our clinicians are the heart of the company and Verbal Beginnings is proud of the high quality of care that they provide.

BHCOE Accreditation is the only ABA-specific accreditation. It provides feedback regarding clinical best practices, staff satisfaction and turnover, and consumer protection. Acting as a third-party, the organization systematically measures and reports on existing quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods and practices, and accredits only those service agencies that meet these standards.

“At Verbal Beginnings, we are passionate about helping our clients make meaningful progress by providing effective care,” said Diana Wolf, MA, BCBA, LBA, “Our clinicians are the heart of the company and Verbal Beginnings is proud of the high quality of care that they provide. We work hard to provide the education and resources they need to bring top-tier services to families across MD, DC, VA, PA and beyond.”
