Tennessee Autism Treatment Center Named as Top National Behavioral Service Provider
NASHVILLE, October 2, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) has recognized The Columbus Organization with a 1-Year BHCOE Accreditation. The accreditation decision recognizes behavioral health providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, and consumer satisfaction. BHCOE Accredited providers voluntarily engage in 3rd party review to exhibit compliance with best practices in behavior analysis. Best practice is measured via a wide-ranging audit, including interviews with agency clinical leadership, a detailed staff qualification review, staff satisfaction survey, consumer satisfaction survey, and turnover analysis.
"The Columbus Organization is dedicated to high-quality, comprehensive, and individualized services for each client. Their team works diligently to offer excellent programming and to elevate clinical quality in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)," said Sara Gershfeld Litvak, Founder of BHCOE. "We are excited to congratulate Dr. Melissa Richards and her team on creating a program that is an indispensable resource to the Tennessee area and beyond.
At The Columbus Organization, our mission is to make a difference in the lives of people with special needs through individualized assessment and planning for every person.

BHCOE Accreditation is the only Applied Behavior Analysis-specific accreditation. It provides feedback regarding clinical best practices, staff satisfaction and turnover, and consumer protection. Acting as a third-party, the organization systematically measures and reports on existing quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods and practices, and accredits only those service agencies that meet these standards.
"At The Columbus Organization, our mission is to make a difference in the lives of people with special needs through individualized assessment and planning for every person," said Dr. Melissa Richards, Ph.D., LBA, BCBA-D, "We are honored to receive this BHCOE Accreditation which reflects our values, thankful to our dedicated staff, and excited to continue to help our clients make meaningful progress utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis."
