Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia Autism Treatment Center Named as Top National Behavioral Service Provider

The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) has awarded Little Leaves Behavioral Services with an Award of Distinction, recognizing the organization as a top behavioral service provider in the country. The award celebrates exceptional behavioral health providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, and consumer satisfaction. These areas are measured via a wide-ranging audit, including interviews with agency clinical leadership, a detailed staff qualification review, anonymous staff satisfaction survey, and anonymous consumer satisfaction survey.

“Little Leaves Behavioral Services is an agency that upholds a commitment to clinical quality as evidenced by their stringent staff qualifications and training, individualized treatment programs, and adherence to current best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Additionally, Little Leaves seeks to cultivate a supportive environment for caregivers through trainings in evidence-based strategies and assistance with coordinating logistics of receiving therapy,” said Sara Gershfeld, Founder of BHCOE. “We are pleased to commend the Clinical Director, Dr. Heather Jennett, and Managing Director, Amie Perl, and their team on running a sustainable ABA program that is an invaluable resource for the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area autism community.” Little Leaves is the first organization in Washington DC and Virginia to earn this distinction, and one of only two programs in all of Maryland.

At Little Leaves, we take great pride in the integrity of our organization and in our dedicated and high caliber team of clinicians, who are committed and passionate about helping our clients make measurable progress in social, behavioral, and cognitive milestones.
